After graduating in 2005, he married his wife, Rebecca, and began working on his master's degree at Baptist College of Ministry and Theological Seminary. The Barbers traveled again with Dr. Jim Van Gelderen in 2007-08 working in Christian schools, and local church revival meetings. During this time, the Lord confirmed God's calling to the field of evangelism. In 2008, Jonathan graduated from Seminary with a master of arts degree in Bible. In June of that same year, the Barbers launched out into fulltime evangelism on their own, leading the BCM Evangelistic Team throughout the summer. They were used of the Lord in local churches across the country as they ministered by means of the Cola-Clash youth evangelistic outreach to teenagers. God used that summer as the final confirmation of His will concerning Jonathan's entering fulltime evangelism.
Jonathan now continues to travel with his wife as the staff evangelist for Baptist College of Ministry. As the Lord leads, he will continue to lead the BCM Evangelistic Team in the summer months conducting the Cola-Clash. During a good portion of the remainder of the year, the Barbers lead the Netcasters Evangelistic Team, a ministry of Revival Focus Ministries. This team assists local churches in the matter of training for personal evangelism. The Barbers continue to minister in churches and Christian schools across the country and overseas as God opens doors. Whether preaching at a Cola-Clash rally, a Christian school retreat, or a local church revival meeting, Jonathan's burden is to see the saints revived, and the lost saved to the Glory of God.
